We found an apartment!
I’m sure you’re happy for many reasons. First, you are (hopefully) happy for us as we have found a wonderful place we will be moving into next month. Security deposit paid, lease signed, walkthrough completed. All that’s left is finding furniture to fill this massive new place. We’ve already made an IKEA trip and a very heavy couch has been carried six blocks, so we are well on our way.
I’m also sure you’re glad you don’t have to read about apartment hunting anymore. I’m glad I don’t have to write about it again.
But I’m sure you’ll get a diary entry about moving, so there’s something to look forward to.
That’s the first new thing we did this week.

Taylor finally graduated!
She actually finished her degree on time in 2020, but of course there was no ceremony. Her school (actually our school, I graduated in 2019) opted not to do any sort of virtual festivities, finding it inauthentic and instead crossing their fingers for the possibility of a delayed in-person ceremony.
