TikTok’s 4 Course Meal Challenge

I am a bit ashamed of how much time I spend on TikTok. I’m probably only on it 20 minutes a day, but that’s 20 minutes I could spend doing something productive.
I have noticed that most of my TikTok likes and follows are centered around food, like admiring the love and care put into Izola’s, a cafeteria style buffet in Hinesville, GA that runs through their offerings every day. I find recipes for Trader Joe’s items and I learn new drinks courtesy of Pour Perry.
Just like anyone else on FoodTok, I’ve encountered the Four Course Challenge. Not hip with it? Food writer Dillon Thompson writes:
Basically, the challenge involves putting together a four-course meal with food from various fast food restaurants. To decide where they go, users play rock, paper, scissors before each course — each round, the winner chooses where that part of the meal will take place.
While Taylor did some research on how to edit a TikTok, I googled “How to win a rock, paper, scissors”. I watched a few videos and read a few articles. The most helpful thing I found was this from Ars Technica’s Casey Johnston:
